We suck. Booed off the pitch. Ultras are pissed, they wanted to bring in a sign expressing their displeasure at management but they were denied by management so they paraded it outside the San Siro.

“Milan management: we have waited for you and supported you endlessly, we have had enough of your mediocrity. Incompetent managers, a club without ambition. You are not up to our history,”

Whats going on there?

Didn’t they win the league like 2 seasons ago? And came second last season?

And they’re currently sitting 8th, they probably should be sitting higher in the table than they are, but that’s ultras for you.

The table currently has Atalanta, Napoli, Inter, Fiorentina and Lazio making up the top 5. At this rate Milan have a lot of work to do to have a chance at continental football next season.

Roma are killing me at the moment, 2 points clear of a relegation place and just lost to Como who were bottom 3.

Milan have sacked Fonseca after a 1-1 draw with Roma.

What has more job security: a member of the Italian government, or a Serie A coach?

Seems like the career longevity of either is very short.

Average managerial job length in Serie A seems to be less than 400 days. One source even suggested an average of 35.1 Serie A games for managerial job length. Wild.

Are the managers just not that much or are the payout laws different in Italy and the owners don’t have to pay out the remaining length of the contract?

As I understand it they are rarely sacked outright. They’re just put on gardening leave effectively. Sometimes they recall them even because they’re still being paid.

If you get picked up by a new club, does your gardening leave end?

You could stack numerous jobs otherwise!

Same as a player. Club that owns your rights/contract has to agree to a termination.

The Roma match was painful to watch and the stadium booed at Full Time.

Apparently the decision was made 20 minutes before the final whistle. Heh.

Anyway this guy is the new coach,

We won the Supercoppa 3-2 against Inter. New coach bounce or we’ll fuck it up against Cagliari this weekend.

Shame it happened in Saudi Arabia as part of their sportswash the world initiative, rather than at the San Siro

Hi everyone, I haven’t posted in a while.
It was/is a super serie a weekend. Friday night had Roma beat Genoa 3-1, fairly humorous final goal to Dybala after the Genoa goalie fumble would make you watch it over again. Can things turn around from here?
After being one behind early on, Bologna came out 3-1 on top over Monza to show the rest of Italy that they are a club to fear, this after the midweek 2-2 draw with Inter that made more that just the bolognesi jump for joy. Anyone see it? I think Bologna played great.
Juventus beat Milan 2-0 on Saturday evening. The bianconeri played great, Milan squad tried so hard to stay in the game but lost composure especially in the final 45’.
Atalanta 2-3 Napoli was the match of the round for me, very enjoyable to watch. There’s a fun Korean Napoli fan that makes vlogs that made a fun video from the match, the channel is called Buona Seba, check it out! :+1:
For me personally, my squad pescara, football in serie c, we lost to a small Tuscan squad, near Siena, called Pianese, a 3-2 loss to us after a ridiculous offside goal was given and since the serie c doesn’t use the var system, there was no way to go back unfortunately. I was given a slight glimpse of joy after one of our other rivals Ternana lost to our little brother club Pineto.
Inter take on Empoli later on Sunday evening, looking forward to it, Inter are playing some good football! :1st_place_medal:
In my post of 2 cents worth, I would like to share also these ultra stickers from Sambenedettese, Pisa and Reggiana.

Napoli against Juventus great for viewing! Juventus playing rough. Napoli playing good. Pleasure to see a full Stadio Maradona jumping. Lukaku telling the away juve fans to quiet down was tops!

How fucked are Juve if they fail to get into the Champions League again? Or are they ok again? They’d had bit losses (or a big loss) right?

That graphic is pretty funny if not entirely accurate.
