I think there wasn’t enough time to get new turf in for one of our matches, by the time we played again they had laid new grass, but it didnt bed in properly.
And this is my concern, the only experience I have of this same day play grass is a negative one.
One thing that annoys me about the new stadium is that the quality of the food has really decreased. I recall in the first few visits, I was surprised that the “stadium burger” was actually quite a decent thing to eat, a huge improvement on what used to be had at the SFS, or Olympic Park.
Last few attempts (more fool me for trying more than one) the quality has been awful, on par with the rubbish we used to get, at much higher the price.
They claim they drop 5cm thick base with the grass in 1.3 ton 1.2m wide stripes. They talk a lot about how it doesn’t more but not a word about seams and levelling.
Yes, I meant Pink in the second sentence.
My son gets the shits when I tell him to mow the lawn. I’ll get him to do it, it will look better.
The chicken burger is superior to the beef burger.
My brother and I have 1 off free upgrades to the Clubhouse that we were thinking of using this weekend. Has anyone here ever used the clubhouse? I must admit, I’m not very clear on what it is or how it works.
Referring to the drainage discussion somewhere else, I’d suggest it’s about to be tested thoroughly in the next little while
If it were some local suburban ground like Kogarah or Leichhardt, I’d agree.
But the stadium should have a state of the art drainage facility. I would be amazed if a few days worth of rain would affect it.
Hopefully help to knit those seams together that were so evident on Saturday night
When do the Roosters play there next
The Tags v Highlanders the night before us v Roar Events
I work next door to the stadium.
Can confirm it’s been raining.
That’s all I can confirm.

AFC Cup at Leumeah
Used my clubhouse voucher for derby in November. It was (apart from result) very enjoyable. There are food, drink and washrooms nearby and the best part is the row of tall seats at back of seating area with bar like table. Will do again next year.
Cupholders.
The clubhouse has cupholders.
For night games it is great. Just avoid for any 5pm kick offs.
We have already covered this
