Thanks, everybody. Looks like pretty much everything is early kickoff for the next few home games at least.

That should mean endless toddler races then, no excuses.
Can we have 90 minutes of toddler races with a half time of Sydney v melbourne city?
Toddler triathlon
Toddler Iron Man.
With weightlifting.
I am going to raise you all a Toddler Thunder Dome, or cage match.
Encircled by noise
The child sprints as best it can
Towards its future
Toddler Wood Chopping.
Like the Easter Show, but the Toddlers have to use full-sized axes as well.
The Oakland A’s future digs in Las Vegas appears to be quite the homage:

Any other matchday cyclists on here? Any idea what we can do about the farcical situation of the bike lanes being closed on match days making bike riders choose between the crowded footpath and busy road? I have no idea how anyone looks at matchday traffic arrangements and decides they can make things safer by making sure people on bikes have nowhere safe to ride.
I’ve just taken up cycling again in the last month or so. Might try riding to the next game I go too. Where do you park your bike at the ground?
You just give the bike to Shane and make him watch it.
By the looks of it, right here:
Yep, the only decent bike parking (that I’ve found) is on Moore Park Rd adjacent to the ludicrously closed bike lane. There are also some dodgy old racks on the Driver Ave side that I’ve used for SCG matches, and I’ve seen people lock up to the wire fence near the old stadium store, to the left of the big stairs at the front.
They really need somewhere that is fairly close to the stadium and has a security presence (either CCTV or security very close nearby at one of the gates). I would not be comfortable leaving anything more than a clunker chained up outside in the current locations available.
I’m guessing you’re not allowed to bring it inside the stadium?
Check with the club there may be bike racks near the SFS / Office parking.
Only if you set it on fire and throw it off the top level.
Greater than life. More glorious than winning a Crit race at Heffron Park.
Due to the usual lack of transit on a Sunday I once rode a bike from Fairfield station to Edensor Park for a Northern Spirit game vs Sydney United. Somewhat bizarrely they let me in the ground with my bike. My plan was then to heckle Mark Rudan about his agents disappearance with “transfer money”. Sadly it was too hot and Rudan was ignoring the “where’s the money gone Rudan?” song, so I hid under a tree and discussed tactics with Noel Spencers dad. The bike was not thrown onto the pitch as I needed to make the station before the darkness fell.
