The weather thread: smalltalk edition

It’s 6:30 and it’s still 37. It’s all a bit ridic.

Yep, we were spoiled last year with such a pleasant summer. This weather can get in the bin.

I was camping in -15 in Mongolia 2 months ago. Thos heat is killing me

Bunnings Kirrawee carpark, 330pm

Cool range is ripping in. Walked out of the pub after sinking pints to a lovely cool breeze.

Apparently today was the muggiest Sydney day on record. Dew point hit 26.

It was fucked

It was so muggy this morning the Coke vending machines at North Sydney Station were all fogged up because of the temperature differential with the machine’s internal temperature and the outside temperature.

No kidding. Even up in the mountains it was bad.

It was absolutely putrid this morning. Stood under an aircon vent for 10 mins before braving waiting for a bus, where the only respite was mild airflow provided by cars as they drove past.

Humidity can fuck right off.

Sydney humidity?

lol

I was sweating my bollocks off today when I was working from home

So I woke up with motivation this morning. Car needs cleaning, do that. Then I walked outside.

Nothing like that comfortable feeling you get at 10pm when it’s still 30 degrees and 80% humidity.

The only person sweating more than me right now is Adam Kersey trying to explain his decisions tonight.

half 9 and it’s still 30c.

Ill be in Bathurst next week, guarantee it will be 30C and raining.

90% chance tomorrow and Tuesday.

Will be cooler after that. Hopefully BOM is wrong and it rains for the 12hr!

It can rain all it wants for the 12 Hour. Wet Proctor Cup is balls.

Jeez bit of weather out there today.

The storm that rolled through on Saturday afternoon was a short sweet violent little thing.

I had just gotten back from a 40km ride, in 32 degree, 80% humidity, dripping buckets. Storm rolled through 20 minutes, last 2 minutes and then it went back to being an awfully humid afternoon. The scrotometer in the reg grundies was getting a 'ol workout.
