What is everyone’s dream team?
If we’re talking a Matchday Saturday, I’d go:
Studio panel: Peacock (host), Harper, Rudan + maybe a rotating current player. Fox have players on NRL 360 and occasionally on game coverage and it’s usually interesting to get their perspective
Game 1: Simon Hill and Robbie Slater
Game 2: Ben(?) Homer and Bozza.
Sideline: Cornthwaite. Possibly an up and comer for the other sideline slot.
Tara to fulfil any other studio duties (weekly Shootout-esque show) and/or sideline.
It’s a hard pass on Bozza from me, can’t stand the guy.

Fair enough. He kind of endeared himself to me when he slapped Brenton down, but I can understand that he’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
Yeah, I wouldn’t be opposed to Foster coming back into the fold.

Hill and Peacock would be good but beyond that I’d really like to see some new faces rather than just bringing out Fox regulars. If youre including former players I hope that would extend to some former Matildas/W-League players.

Archie is okay on the magazine style shows but he’s no good as the colour commentator or sideline expert.
I would like them to go after Teo Pellizzeri as the 2nd or 3rd commentator behind Hill, he’s always done a good job when I’ve heard him.

I’ve decided, after much umming and ahhing, that I wouldn’t mind if Andy Harper went across too.
There was a moment on the weekend where he had a really great bit of commentary about tactics and player performance and I thought, ‘yup none of the smooth brains (bosnich, Archie) would have said that.’
Then 30 minutes later he said “Route one? That’s route Beaut!” and I decided I can handle a Harperism every so often.

Completely agree.
Getting the Ogmonster back as well would be good, he did a bit of co-coms and studio punditry a few years back and was genuinely very insightful.
Also sign Brosque up.
