When I went to see Roma, I spent about 30 min trying to get it. My phone wasn’t bright enough… the gates were bullet proof full height turnstiles, to avoid any kind of surge. Good design really… The staff wouldn’t or couldn’t over ride them.

That was a bit easy

Some reports of 90,000 odd Liverpool fans in Paris with many trying to get in the ground without a ticket. Maybe they closed half the gates to better monitor fan entry?

Vinicius seems to be having a pretty decent game, maybe behind his keeper.

I wouldnt want to speculate on that given the two tragedies in the 80s that may be attributable, in part, to that particular habbit.

Understandable. You gotta think the staff and security at this stadium know what they’re doing though. They’re not exactly short on big crowd management and in particular football fan management. Can’t see them just closing gates on a whim and without some justification. But you never know, incompetence and poor judgement is always a possibility wherever you are.

Courtois has gone full beast mode.

Immense defensive display from Real Madrid.

I think there’s been about a minute of play since 80". Could have fitted on a bunch of channel 10 ads and still missed nothing

Man of the match, no brainer…

Where does the use of tear gas fit in with experienced big game management?

Really? Outside the stadium?

Yep, quite a few videos circulating showing fans being gassed.

Spanish teams now 17 from 17 in European finals against non Spanish teams since 2001.

Does Mane get used at #9 a lot? It really seems to negatively effect what he brings to a game.

He has for the past few months. It’s pretty hard with teams that sit back like Madrid.

He’s been brilliant as the 9 for the last few months, not so good this morning though. Be interesting to see if that was his last game in a Liverpool shirt.

Apparently bs. Robertson gave a ticket to a friend from the club, the friend was turned away from having a fake a ticket. Looks like it was just horribly managed by the French by trying to be way to heavy-handed with the supporters. I think they were picturing Liverpool in the 80s arriving… Some people were searched up to 8 times before entering.

Journalists reporting that they were taken into rooms and threatened to delete footage of the security
