I didnât watch it but twitter updates through the game were saying the scoreline didnât reflect the game (e.g. when it was 2-4 that it was very lopsided) and that Bayernâs finishing was amazing. XG was something like just 2-2 or 2-3.
I also saw a tweet yesterday hinting at dressing-room cuckoldry sending team harmony to shit.

Iâm absolutely done with VAR. All it does is add another set of eyes and so an extra interpretation leading to even more inconsistency.
This Fox article shows the âfoulâ on Marcelo side by side with (imo) a clearer foul on Van Dijk. The ref could not have been better placed for the Marcelo one, so NFI how that constitutes a clear and obvious error, itâs a mild touch (arms already extended, hardly a push) to which Marcelo throws himself to ground. In the second one Mertens only has eyes for the man, clearly barging in with an arm / elbow up.
No salt from an LFC fan, itâs just the inconsistency that burns. I donât see how one can be overturned and not the other 24 hours later. At least there was consistency within the LFC v Napoli game, if Mertens gets away with one so does Lovren on the equaliser.
As a Liverpool fan, I had no issue with the Napoli goal. VVD was looking for the foul, but didnt get it. Serves him right.
