Lopar made one good save in the second half, but Bamford should’ve put it far post and not even given him a sniff. He also turned his back on one from close range in the first half, instead of making himself big and putting his body on the line he actually turned away from it and looked scared of the ball. Jury out.
WSW still have not got a full squad and most of their new players have had little time to settle in. For the sake of the A League, I want WSW to do well (but not as well as us) - and their fans to come back in numbers and the RBB to behave well. With 3 A League clubs in town soon, I really want Sydney to be (association) football capital!
Well, at least that wouldn’t derail their hunt for a striker. Could be worse if they for example had planned to use the visa spot elsewhere on the park - a defender for example.
