It’s pretty obvious that Israeli authorities allowed this to happen, in order to gain sympathy for the kind of Israeli response we’ve seen since that day. Not the first government to do this …

They had no idea it was coming but in an amazing display of efficiency subsequently discovered the Hamas hideouts under every hospital, school, mosque etc within days.
You mean they subsequently discovered a reason to bomb every hospital, school, mosque etc within days?
Correct. A truly stunning recovery for Israeli intelligence!
(I’m not normally one for conspiracy theories but have added this one to the Wuhan lab as my guilty pleasures).
Iran really does live absolutely rent free in the mind’s of powerful world leaders. Fuck me, Iran can’t even keep it’s own president alive or feed its own people. It’s a fucking Napoleon Complex in a nation.
The biggest victims of the I.R. regime are Iranian citizens and residents: Iranian women, undocumented Afghans basically being work slaves and unable to get citizenship even when growing up in Iran, ethnic/ethnolinguistic and religious minorities, LGBTQ+ Iranians.
Bibi leading his own bullshit regime which discriminates against its own citizens (Citizenship and nationality are different in Israel, and different rights are awarded different “nationalities” even when all Israeli citizens), makes others stateless, and murders masses upon masses of civilians including children, then branding opposition to these actions are somehow pro-IR (Yes, I.R. is officially pro-Palestine but the reasons for a position matter immensely. Much like the US’s interest in “liberating” Iraqis was opportunistic and not at all humanitarian)… That’s some bullshit.
Then there’s Mr One Ear saying he wants a nation of about 90 million people “obliterated” should his one worthless life be taken…And wealthy Iranian Shah supporters cheer for him. Not to mention the Mujahedin (MEK), who once backed Iraq dropping chemical weapons on Kurds within Iran’s borders.
People using this name “Bibi” every damn time I misread it as “Bimbi” and I need to stop and work out what is going on
Bibi’s also an old fashioned term for mother or grandmother in Persian. My dad called his mum that, and my maternal grandmother called her mum that. It is a pretty cutesy name for a guy wanting wipe out an entire culture of people.
Looks like there may be Civil War in Venezuela. The Far-Left government has claimed an election win, despite claims of electoral fraud. The opposition was apparently refused entry to the main electoral office and they haven’t actually released numbers yet. The current government has previously used soldiers to suppress any decent, however there’s video footage of Police Officers taking off their uniforms and entire army units switching sides
Probably explains why despite being close allies, Venezuela declined to send Russia much assistance in Ukraine when Putin went asking. Knows they’ve got trouble at home.
Civil War you say?
In Venezuela you say?
I find that hard to believe!
You say?
I am shocked sir. Shocked!
Well, stop sticking cutlery in toasters and wall sockets. You’ll give yourself Eczema.
Massive electoral fraud would be underselling the situation.
The opposition lost and now they are claiming election fraud. Western media reports it as fact and dubs the election disputed. Same things happened in most elections that the right wing lost in Venezuela since Chavez first came to power, even though independent observers almost always find the elections to have been free and fair.
Next thing you’ll be telling me Trump won in 2020.
The amount of countries across Latin America and beyond that are coming out and saying they are rejecting the outcome of this election and demanding that transparency and the wishes of the voting public of Venezuela be respected is already quite large.
There has even been talk (and in LATAM it obviously doesn’t come lightly) about Maduro and “Dictatorship.” Maduro lost the last election in 2018 and instead of accepting the result, he exiled the electoral winner and claimed he was guilty of corruption and usurpation.
Maduro now banned his main opposition candidate María Corina Machado from participating in the election, and even after that, the next choice had a huge groundswell of popular support.
What the fuck have you been smoking? Madura has kept power literally through the use of crooked judges and military intervention. The national assembly tried to get rid of him, after which he used presidential powers to destory their authority, as well as crushing decent through the use of force. Last i saw, peiple that win power legally generally dont need th me armed forces to crush widespread insurrection throughout an entire country
are you refering to Guaido?
That’s a pretty wild description of what happened in 2018 and the presidential crisis. The parliament, which the opposition had won control of in 2015 with about $300k of support from the US, declared Maduro hadn’t really won and named a president of its own.
Whenever an idiot politician uses the word freedom over & over during a campaign & idiots fall for it you know it ends up in the same place in the end.
