I was going to give all 6 to Reddders until the goal. Now it’s much more difficult

Finally caught up on recent (& not-so-recent) results. Apologies for the delay and massive thanks for the people who’ve continued to vote despite the performances!

Here are the MOTMs from the past six matches:

Rd 7 vs Melb City: Joe Lolley (3rd for season)
Rd 8 vs CC Mariners: Joe Lolley (4th for season)
Rd 9 vs Macarthur FC: Andrew Redmayne (2nd for season; 14th of SFC career)
Rd 10 vs Newcastle Jets: Jack Rodwell (1st for season)
Rd 11 vs Wellington Phoenix: Robert Mak (3rd for season)
Rd 12 vs Perth Glory: Joe Lolley (5th for season)

Don’t forget to vote for Saturday’s match against Western Utd:

Recent results…

Despite the way in which we conceded the only goal vs Western Utd, Andrew Redmayne was voted MOTM for the match in Hobart. He won it by a single vote, making it his 3rd for the season and the 15th of his Sydney FC career.

For the win down in Melbourne, Joe Lolley picked up votes from all 26 voters to take his 6th MOTM for the season.

Voting numbers have dropped off a fair bit since the start of the season. It would be great if we can get them back up again with a couple of wins…? CCM is still open now

Redmayne got man of the match when he was lobbed from 40 yards? That’ll do me

But seriously, that’s on those of us who didn’t vote…

I only caught the last half hour of that one, and certainly didn’t see anything that would make me want to go back and sit through the first hour.

I can’t remember who I voted for but Redders had a pretty good game apart from the goal. Nobody else really stood out from memory

I spent most of the Western United game looking at the background, wondering if a Hobart-based Tasmanian side would work in the ground.

It’s a nice little ground.

Vs WSW

Result for the win over CCM: Adam Le Fondre was voted MOTM to go along with his brace. He is the 8th different winner this season, and it is the 12th MOTM of his 120-game Sydney FC career.

Reminder to submit your votes for the derby if you haven’t already:

Genuinely one of the hardest votes this season. Lots of 6-7/10s tonight but very few memorable performances.

FWIW I thought Caballo was excellent. The other 10 cunts not so much.

Yeah, I gave 3 points to Caballo for the first time ever

I gave all 6 to this bloke called Parsons. Like the Loch Ness monster I have heard of him, and there’s been claims he’s been seen on the pitch this season, which I’m not sure can be 100% verifiable.

But he did what the other players on the pitch couldn’t do and put the ball over the painted line, and into the net. At least I think he did.

6 points, and if I chant his name 3 times into a mirror, he might appear and do it again next week.

Result for the away derby: who else but Max Burgess? Unsurprisingly, he got votes from all 35 voters to pick up his first MOTM for the season; the 7th of his Sydney FC career.

Votes have been ticking up slightly over the past few weeks. It would be nice if this trend continues despite the draw! Voting for the draw vs Brisbane still open:
