For my kicks in good condition, I’ve started cleaning them regularly and have toe shapers to keep the creases to a minimum.

Nope, its something different, a stiff piece of plastic that goes into shoes at the front to keep the dome, it works similarly to a shoe tree but you don’t have to take it out when you’re wearing the shoes or trainers.

Or he doesn’t constantly wear suits and actually does like to dress casual from time to time? He may also just actually take care of his shoes, knowing that if were to come out in public wearing a completely tattered pair of sneakers, he’d be crucified for that as well?

I know what you’re saying, but Rishi Sunak absolutely comes across as someone who is as fake as they come.
I do understand, but every single politician chooses their outfits to convey a message. The senior ones have teams agonizing on what they wear every second of the day, be it the style of suit, colour of the tie, or the more casual clothing.
I like the white collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up look that they all don during natural disasters to convey that they’re getting stuck in with the relief effort.
