It’s a fascinating phenomenon. One way or the other.
It is odd that there is soooo many people convinced they have seen something - if it was a court of law and you had ‘that’ many eyewitnesses well …
Also, I learnt recently that T-Rex’s walked the earth for 2.5 millions years and we have only 50ish fossils - so I get that just because something exists doesn’t mean it is leaving loads of evidence or signs of its existence around.
But anyway - agreed that it is fascinating - particularly the psychology behind a lot of it

Oh yeah. I was at Victoria Falls a couple of weeks ago. There was a dead rock wallaby in the creek. I’ve never seen that before. And all the dead macropods I’ve ever seen are roadkill. And we can all agree there’s a fuck ton of macropods around.
One of the Yowie pages I follow on Facebook had a sighting of a raptor the other day. It seemed to be taken seriously …
