There’s no way we’re changing coach until the ACL2 run is over, at the very least. The board showed that with Bimbi and the Aus cup.

Just like we’re trying a high press and our defence isnt good enough because the club signed Costa instead of a defender?
I kinda feel that high press this season isnt as prominent as last season,
It’s not just the high press that’s missing. It feels as though that squad unity that Arnie built up has slowly eroded away and certain players get treated differently. This creates divisions, cliques and makes certain players feel less valued than others despite their input. It’s now wonder the chemistry required for a disciplined high press is missing.
Take Douglas Costa the other day, for example. There is absolutely no way under Arnie he’d be wheeled out in his civvies for photos at half time. He’d at least be in a club polo but more than likely in his team suit as per all of the other injured squad players.
You’ve also got the Maxy being frozen out situation. While I am of the opinion that his time here is up and the younger players should be given the minutes ahead of him, this no doubt has had an effect on him and those that are closest to him in the squad.
Even over at Wellington last Wednesday only 3 players, HDM, Lolley and Caceres(?) came over to thank the away supporters.
Granted, there was only 10-15 of us but I remember Arnie telling the players to go and thank the travelling supporters and they were led over by the captain.
It appears that standards have been allowed to slide over time and we’re seeing the results of that play out on the field.
This I 100% agree with. There definitely isn’t that family unity that was really instilled by Arnold and driven by TMac. I remember the days when new players would be invited to player’s houses for a bbq and get together to get to know the team. Doesn’t seem to be really happening these days. I remember the stories of players turning down better offers purely to play for Sydney due to those sorts of factors. Disappointing that that’s dropped down in importance when it was a really big driving factor for the club’s on and off field success
FWIW I think our vibe on the field seems terrible.
Pointing where to pass instead of being on the move so that when the pass is made, you’re showing for the next move.
Too much indignation and not enough encouragement when things go wrong, even with the young players.
When we concede everyone is wandering around bitterly.
The dip in effort from some players like Sena.
The whole team seems off. Talay obviously has a lot of responsibility for this, but so do the players.
We are high, just no press.
HDM, HM and Lolley were the only ones that came across initially. I feel like others may too have but we dispersed pretty quick after full time.
A couple had media duties and the bench were doing extras.
Either way, I agree that this sort of stuff would not occur under the previous two managers.
I’ve seen enough.
The board will agree, just give them a couple of seasons to act!
You only just got back
Everyone needs to chill, Talay isn’t going anywhere this season.
#ufukoff
After last nights shambolic performance, and last week against fucking Brisbane, and signing Shiterio, lets see if those results have changed.
Talay Auaut?
Never realised Talay was his first name
I mean Im Talay out but who realistically is going to replace him? (Arnie should be aiming higher)
I don’t know how we will be able to find a better manager out of the tens of thousands with a pro license.
Better not try
