There is no way Anthony Koletti had anything to do with her disappearance. He definitely delayed alerting the authorities to her disappearance but that is just about the extent of his involvement.
If anyone is guilty of facilitating her disappearance, it’s her father.
There is an underbelly show on Melissa Carrick. It is almost worth a watch although they don’t really give any conclusions. They don’t suspect the husband but he does seem a bit thick

I don’t believe somebody of MC’s cunning and manipulative stature wouldn’t have an exit plan. Her exit plan certainly wouldn’t have been to just throw herself off a cliff.
She would have siphoned off thousands of dollars into offshore bank accounts for something like this. The foot is a nice ruse, but had she thrown herself off the clifs where the cops said she did, you wouldn’t have a cleanly shorn foot just rock up a few hundred meters south.

As for the foot it isn’t actually that improbable for it to wash up where it did if she entered the water at Driver Heights.
I think it was Thinking Sideways pod that did a story on a bunch of feet that washed up on a beach somewhere. It turned out that they were from a plane crash months earlier.
Basically the ankle is a really weak joint and the foot separates from the lower leg. Modern day shoes are really good at preserving the foot and are also very bouyant because of the polyester and foam. Once the skin rots away or marine life chews through it the foot floats away.
For Melissa Caddick it is quite possible that she broke her ankle entering the water and when her foot broke off from her body it got picked up by the East Australia Current which took it south.
Yeah when I heard about the foot washing up down south I thought of this straight away.
Thought I read that some Physical oceanographers confirmed the time and date she is said to have jumped would correspond with the current patterns that would have pushed it down south.
Also that the ankle did not show any signs of cutting etc.

The thing about the EAC is it doesn’t actually flow properly along the coastline, but off the shelf ~10nm east. It’s got a long way to go out before it would meet a current strong enough to push it that far south.
