Just watched the Canada/Uruguay highlights and the commentator kept saying “offsides” instead of just “offside”.
A single letter… fuck it grinds.

Almost as bad is PK
Stairs that are slightly too wide… they aren’t big enough to put two steps on them, but one step is slightly too long and feels like a mini lunge… really makes me angry and it probably shouldn’t
Also the ones where there’s enough space that you have to take an extra step, so you always end up on the same foot on the step part
An oldie but a goodie: when businesses state they are open till “late”.
Are you talking about bars?
The reason why they do this is to protect their trading hours on the DA and License.
If they were to state that they are open until Midnight every night but keep closing at 10pm because it is quiet then next time the license is up for renewal then they can have their opening hours reduced.
Having worked in a pub that shut at 4am it was made quite clear that we were never to shut early. I lost count of the number of cold, wet wintery nights where it was just 2 security guards, the gaming attendant and myself in the front bar watching tv in the front bar.
Maybe you should have run a nicer pub.
With blackjack and hookers.
In that area it was probably the quality of the hookers that were keeping the patrons away.
Too high or too low?
The paid you to sleep with them…
Which pub?
Asking for a friend.
A desperate and broke friend …
Cunts riding bikes in the road, not making any effort to move over, whilst also not making any effort to peddle either. Instead they back everyone up going for a 15km/h doddle along a busy main road.
It’s not just the selfishness of bike riders that puzzles me, it’s the complete lack of self-preservation. If you want to die, just jump from a bridge. No need to interrupt my commute.
Nah.
I’d rather die and inconvenience your entire day.
There’s this cycling youtube channel that keeps coming up for me, presumably because I watch a lot of dash cam videos. Each and every one of these videos is some moron cyclist complaining about a perceived unsafe manoeuvre from a car. Hey genius, you know what’s unsafe? Riding a little plastic bike next to 2000kg hunks of metal and plastic going at speed.
Amazon Prime.
I’m already fucking paying for your syreaming service. Why do I need to watch ads now?
Isn’t that the whole point of paying for a subscription servoce?
Why should I have to pay fucking twice now, so I can watch ad free.
Once I’ve finished The Boys, that’ll be one less monthly payment. Or I’ll replace it with Apple TV or Binge so I can watch GOT/HOD.
Good thing that bikes aren’t made out of plastic.
I get more annoyed at motorcycles. Now, that’s a suicide wish if ever there was one.
This was always the endgame for streaming: steadily rising monthly fees then implementing ads, and charging to remove them. We probably should’ve seen it coming.
Thankfully sailing the high seas is, more or less, as reliable and efficient as ever.
I’ve made a partial return to the high seas after the Amazon decision.
If it was just an ad before a program starts I may have just let it go, but as soon as we went to an ad break during an episode of The Boys I was done.
Subscription cancelled as soon as the episode finished.
I’m going to take a non-judgemental view on the bike riders. (Even though i have my own)
I ASSUME most if not all cyclists that go out in the morning in traffic between 6-8am are all office/inside workers who sit at a desk all day or stand behind a table of some sort.
Their opportunity to be healthier or keep fit etc is that moment in the morning. (It’s also probably some corporate team building or socializing)
Most people DRIVING to work in the early hours of the morning work physically all day and are under pressure to get to work on time. Because when they get home after work they are sore and tired to do extra exercise. Let alone family commitments.
It’s a clash of life styles that you are experiencing on the road and everyone is important and doing their part.
I don’t have answers, but i do get mad when there is a clear path on the side of the road for cyclists and they still choose to stay on the road.
