If that’s it, then my guess is the update probably has something that has a bit of code that looks/does something similar to a known virus. Now it’s blocking it from running and interjecting into the boot sequence, causing the infinite loops/BSOD.
I left at 4pm with the boss to talk shit and watch her drink whiskey (yay, no booze), so was blissfully unaware any of this was happening. Which in itself was lubricating.
Had the day off as i was meant to take my oldest to have a tooth checked and the appointment was cancelled. Instead i managed to do so much stuff!
Got a haircut
Went for an overdue blood test
Got my tires changed on my car
Bought undercoat for my fence
Painted undercoat on the fence
Gurneyed the pavers in the garden
Now sitting with a beer, despite the fact that its a weekday as, technically it’s a day off

I was at Stansted airport for a flight to Italy when the Crowdstrike thing happened, absolute chaos as Ryanair’s systems were down and they had to do everything manually. half of my flight didn’t have seat numbers, so they just let everyone on to try and find a seat. That went about as well as you can imagine with people almost coming to blows.
We sat on the plane almost 3 hours before we were able to leave which was shit too, as it was a rare 30 degree day, was so warm on the plane sitting in the sun.

Andy Harper might not be Don Draper, but he is a good guy in real life. Different from his television persona - as all the talking heads are.
