If that is really the original design, I donāt see the problem. I strongly suspect it is not, though, and they had to make changes for it to pass scrutiny.

IMO, for a new and small and somewhat inconsistent active, itās a decent effort. But if they hadnāt gone public before the negotiation(?) with the APL was done, they wouldnāt have raised expectations so high. They really built it up. Adding to that, theyāve probably burnt bridges with the ācocaine sniffersā comment. Obviously, stand up for yourself. Itās just that a bit of tact occasionally can go a long way.
My guess would be the APL overturned their decision (if they did) almost simultaneously to the activeās statement. Otherwise, they made a last second alteration, because of artwork that was actually denied, not the words (Because theyāre, you know, right there.).
