A glance at the advertising should have alerted you to the obvious shitness therein.
The first one was good enough to watch (that I remember). This was a completely different vibe and was absolute trash.

Ballerina was some good clean family fun, did exactly what it says on the tin. Keanu was extra wooden in his cameo too, fantastic stuff.

Been pretty absent here as I’ve been hitting the film festival pretty hard. Anyone caught anything good?
Watched two of the films in the Jafar Panahi retrospective today, presented by the Director which is astonishing given it was only his second time leaving the country since his travel ban expired. Offside in particular would be appealing to people here, given it’s about a number of things (primarily the ban on women entering stadiums in Iran), but is at its core a look at the unifying power of the love of football.
For anyone who loves body horror, keep an eye out for Together. Really well done Australian movie that gets the mix of comedy and horror just right.
Have been a bit sick so haven’t been to anything sadly, but super keen for Together.
