Guaranteed that the game is either going to go ahead but I can’t get there because of flooding, or I make it there somehow and they cancel it at 655

I’m starting to lean to watching it on telly

So,if it’s called off does ABJ has his suspension served?

2 weeks or 2 matches,and which 2 matches?

So 5% chance of a dry day?

Better odds than a NWSW win.

It’ll be two matches so I imagine this wouldn’t count as serving it.

Now that’s a conspiracy. Call the game off just as it finishes, we can’t lose!

Could end up with some fixture congestion between this and the ACL. Could see us drop points, imagine having a single digit lead at the top. Scary.

Maybe I’m blind/mad, but I was sure I noticed puddles of water (assumed from sprinklers) in the opening 20 mins v Brisbane last round. If I have not yet lost all faculties, then jubilee does not have great drainage and this rain will be too much for the pitch.

Just started raining now where I am near the CBD, but honestly looks temporary and isn’t that heavy. I think if they’re basing the decision on a pitch inspection at 10:30 or so, it’s hard to see them calling it off.

Yeah I think the same. The rain at the moment is only over the northern and southern extremities of the city.

I live about 4km from Kogarah, and it’s been raining somewhat heavy since 9am. If it continues like this till the inspection I’d say it’ll get called off.

I think this image has been doctored

Yeah and the worst part of that is ‘moderate’ yellow. If the pitch really can’t handle moderate rain for a day or two then just add it to the list of reasons why we need to get back to the SFS asap.

Forecast for today is 120 to 200 mm. That isn’t moderate.

“that’s the original chart”

Still chucking it down here in the Shire, and has been for the past hour or two.

I really can’t see Jubilee sustaining this much rain and still being playable.

(Then again, the home derby in 17/18 at Allianz (25 Feb 2018) was even heavier rain all day, and I never thought that would go ahead either. I’m pretty sure there was a bit of lightning that day too).

No lightning here so far.
