Sydney Supercup Nov 2022 - Rangers, Celtic

I would prefer Boca v River Plate.

Been done in Madrid.

Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Boca Juniors, River Plate as the 4 team tournament!

Russia v Ukraine, the REAL rivalry.

They can play it at Parramatta as well. That shiny new stadium needs some “bedding in”.

I thought we already did that?

*insert grounds keeper willy and his mates here.

Well at least Accor Stadium gets a decent replacement.

FC Barcelona v A-Leagues All Stars at Accor Stadium on Wednesday 25 May.

Apparently Everton close to replacing Rangers in this tourny.

Lel. Didn’t even realise they were still doing ahead.

They have already started giving refunds for tickets so I’m a bit surprised by that news

As you say

Yeah I’m not paying to see Everton vs Celtic pre-season friendly
Rangers vs Celtic shitfest was the only reason why I was prepared to pay money and drag my arse to Homebush for a friendly. Will be opting for a refund the second I’m given the option.

People in the Celtic supporters club have already been receiving refunds, you have to email

So what’s the actual format for this? By the looks of it, it’s a cup, but no one wins? Is it just 3 separate games and nothing else?

How many do they think will go to Celtic v Everton at Homebush?

Not as many as it would be if it was Celtic v Rangers.

The standard rules apply.

The European clubs win financially.
The promoter wins financially.
The Eurosnobs win if their club that they would probably struggle to point out on a map wins, and get to slag on the A-League.

The fans in general attending also win, as you’ll be able to drink in the stadium. Something you can’t do in Qatar.
