Not currently a member, but if we could get some more negative feedback on the drumming that would be great.

Don’t forget the LED curtain!
The volume level of the PA bouncing around the concrete concourse is excruciating and unnecessary. Top of my list of complaints.
I think the on field performances have ruined my experiences.
I hadn’t noticed a single one of those things listed on that page asking about impact on match day experiences. Drummers? Some archway at Gate 1?
Still on tap upstairs (as of last game)
Neither.
I had a crack at the food options. Unfortunately didn’t get to slate them over the “premium” clubhouse membership not actually having a premium vibe to it and the fact that there is only a single food option upstairs. I get the area immediately adjacent has their own catering provided, but don’t sell me on a premium matchday experience if I have to drag my fat arse downstairs to a [closed] food venue for variety.
I completed this… pointed out that watching shite was always going to be a negative in any stadium
Also, having to go from cove heights to the half way line for something for the kids to eat is ridiculous
I’ll have to check next time. I’m in the bottom tier and couldn’t’ see it anywhere.
I heard they had Batch West Coast IPA on tap somewhere last game.
It’s on tap every game I think, at least in the bar behind the Cove.
There’s been Batch WCIPA, Balter, Philter XPA and Yulli’s Seabass Med Lager.
That requires the bar behind the cove to be open
That’s worth a walk.
Ridiculous that it’s not.
wondering if the bar behind the Cove being closed is an overzealous attempt at RSA? Someone overthinking the potential for fights etc.
I put it more down to “Its wellington, there will be no one here so lets open the bars and food outlets on halfway and assume everyone will walk”
Hopefully the club actually passes this feedback on and they do something about it. I get you cannot staff the entire stadium for a 10k fixture, but having 4 our of the 20 potential different food vendors open doesn’t exactly align with what was sold when memberships became available.
All that matters is we have more toilets.
Anyone got a sub for the astonisher that could post this?
If they had gone for my idea and built a 8 story carpark on the grass across the road years ago then people wouldn’t be so upset. However it was decided that the species of dirt mixed in with a bit of grass was on the endangered species list.
Afaik there is a current proposal for an underground 4 + 2 story carpark handling about 1500 cars in the current paved area between NRL HW and RugbyAU which would be built over two stages.
Wouldn’t totally make up for lack of grass parking but would also shift revenue from Centennial Park Trust (who own most of the current grass) to VenuesNSW who run the Stadium.
Decent crowd for the Waratahs first Allianz game in five years, reported at just over 25k.
Brumbies won but the Tahs were at least in it for most of the game.
Lower deck was mostly full and probably half full on the middle eastern stand.
The big difference to SFC games is that the SFS member was completely full on the middle western stand and probably another three bays on the upper deck.
Interestingly the safe standing in Bay 23 was left in place and probably half full.
