Yeah they have a bar within a bar. More of an agreement than a full venue, I guess.
It’s odd because Status Quo is one of the best beers ever and deserves all it’s flowers.

Sometimes an Ice Cold VB just hits the spot better than a craft beer ever could.

The only spot VB could hit better than a craft beer is reminding yourself why VB is so fucking crap.
Australian Lager is a poor rendition of lager. It’s … vile for a lack of a better term.
Japanese Lagers like Asahi, German Lager like Becks are far, far superior to VB and do that ice cold thing in a vastly superior manner.
Becks has suffered the same fate a lot of beers has suffered. Used to be 5% and is now 4%.
I remember Becks used to be one of the cheapest import lagers around. It still is but no longer as good since they dropped the ABV.

New and VB feel soapy in the mouth. It’s quite peculiar.
When you’re really hot and thirsty they’re tolerable, but they’re certainly not my beer of choice.
Had an Akasha the other day. The thing was way way way too over carbonated. Was really unpleasant to drink until i poured it into a glass
