Yeah agreed that it was a fun and inoffensive thriller, will happily watch season 2 when it drops.
Gotta start Sugar and Shogun this week now the Tokyo Vice and Invincible are done. Need to fill that programming gap.

Found S2 of Tokyo Vice a bit rushed. Adelstein just comes off as a cockhead too. Real punchable face.
I loved the book and was really keen for this.
But really didnāt do it for me. I know itās the classic case of a series being made based on a book but felt very flat.
The casting really annoyed me⦠Having Ruffalo (who I do rate) being American while playing a French guy while using an English accent. A small thing but got me haha
Yeah, I must admit it annoyed me that none of the cast were actually French.
But Iāll watch Hugh Lawrie peel spuds for 2 hours. I donāt care what heās in.
The Gentlemen thoughts
Hadnt seen the movie so that was a fun descent into chaos and some unexpected turns. Found the ending was pretty underwhelming though. That type of plot having the big twist being a happily ever after just didnt fit the show. Felt like it needed one of the leads betraying the other or both getting taken out by Johnston with a T.
Fallout is brilliant, though I am going in without having played the games.
Might buy Fallout 4 though!
My best mate plays Fallout 4 religiously, and from what Iāve seen of it, it looks pretty good. I dare say you wonāt be disappointed!
Considering the stale regurgitation by Bethesda for Fallout 3 and 4, Iām really surprised the show. Itās actually kinda good!
Anyone seen āThe Signā episode of Bluey? Itās the 24 min one. I really enjoyed!
But⦠definitely feels like the end of the show. Wonāt lie, I teared up!
Edit: after seeing the surprise episode after āThe Signā, maybe not
Theres a heap of good Easter eggs in there⦠Good on you Winstonās dad!
I think theyre building towards a movie⦠a Rusty off shoot would be sick!
Bluey spoilers:
As a dad currently prepping the family for a big overseas move that will be a ābig adventureā it all hit a bit too close to home to be honest. I didnāt even really get where the emotional gut punch of the episode is supposed to land?
Edit: For a show that rightfully gets big props for the way it presents complex emotional situations to kids without talking down to them, I honestly think they bottled this one. Calypsoās fable, and the āweāll seeā stuff is on the money, but then suddenly Bluey just gets her happy ending. So whatās the message? Change is scary, even for adults, so better not to try new things and stick with whatās familiar instead. Also they barely give any explanation for why they decided to go for the move in the first place other than that the money will be good. This just seems totally out of character for the parents. Surely if they had decided on the move they would actually be talking it up to the kids. So overall for me the whole thing just ends up feeling contrived and falls flat in a way that the best Bluey eps donāt.
I dont think a Bluey movie is a good idea TBH, would make it hard to sit through with kids that lose focus, and even in this slightly longer format it feels like more arcs than necessary, with some of the emotional tugs feeling a bit staged. The 7 min, one sweet message in a compact narrative is a better format.
Could easily see it being a ~60 minute movie that forces moviegoers to pay the full fare to see it at a cinema.
Baby Reindeer (Netflix).
Lurches between hilarious, quirky, awkward, horrific, and just very very sad.
Richard Gaddās performance is incredible, which I suppose isnāt too surprising given that itās essentially based on his own true story.
Watched that with the wife, something we rarely have time to do⦠episode four kinda knocked the vibe a little.
Very good show, terrifying, funny, thought provoking.
The actress playing Martha was sensational
Great show. Completely fucked up. Episode 4 completely threw the wife and I.
Finished both seasons of the Lincoln Lawyer. Itās got an excellent dark humour running through it.
Anyone been watching Sugar, the Collin Farell detective show?
Mate, yesterdays episode, HUGE thinking emoji.
I watched the first ep of Fallout tonight. Quite enjoyable. Looks like it is a good story.
But man, I just saw one thread on reddit about Xelia Mendes-Jones and some people are remarkably upset about an actor playing a part.
