"Time to kick ass and chew bubblegum ..." - The Gamer Thread

For anyone who plays FPS I’d recommend giving Hell Let Loose a look.

WW2 shooter that sits in that area between say ARMA level sim style and Battlefield arcadey gameplay.

Bunch of Aussie devs too.

I started to play it this weekend. Good fun, but it is very dependent on if you are in a squad trying to play the right way. My first game no one was talking and it wasn’t much fun. My other games have all had good experienced squad leaders and it was a great, immersive experience.

Yeah absolutely. I only play if mates are on basically.

i’ve gotten back into FM2021, it’s actually scary managing SFC and seeing how old our players are! All the ones that started young are hitting their 30’s I dont like it

Assuming that starts back in 2020, re-sign Tilio!

Tilio was already gone :frowning:

I won the league after City lost their last three game in a row and Brisbane their last 2, otherwise they would have beaten me by 3 pts, went ahead to beat City in the Grand Final and now in the final of the FFA cup against WSW. Signed Sontje Hanson from Ajax on loan, he scored 9 goals from 11 games, now I’ve signed Liam Delap from Man City on loan and Bright Arrey-MBI on loan from Bayern. For the three players, i’ve only had to pay $100 a week in wages as the rest are free haha

Last one I have is FM19, just checked and our reserves contain Tilio, Devlin, Tratt and Calver (and for some reason Brillante is there instead of the first team).

Lifetime contracts for all.

I don’t like 2021, Ninko is an arsehole. I’ve had to give him multiple warnings for training :frowning: It shook me to my core every time I had to do it

The guy is in lockdown, give him a break.

I blame the manager.

I finally invested in a gaming PC and it has been quite the pleasant experience so far.

Has anyone played Crusader Kings III? Trying to figure out if it’s worth it

It’s excellent.

Its amazing, can be hilarious, but you have to be very, very patient, there’s very little in the way of immediate rewards for decisions.

I think you also have to expect that it’s not like Civ or anything. The objective isn’t really to “win”.

It’s much more about the drama that comes out of your political machinations than any kind of military action.

Also it’s on Gamepass so it’s pretty easy to try it out.

You can’t go wrong with most of Paradox’s strategy games. Stellaris was absolutely amazing, too.

I might have a look at it then.

On positive news for next year A-league… My SFC team has won 5 from 6 with wins against
WSW: 1-0 and 4-1 2
MVFC 6-1 and 5-1
Brisbane 5-1
With my only loss against Macarthur after dominating with 10 shots on target to lose against a lucky header.

I’ve only had to bring in Liam Delap on loan, Arrey-Mbi on loan and signing Damascan on a free plus bringing Antonis back from Korea. If Corica could repeat this… my two loan signings are completely free!

I signed up for the xbox cloud beta on Android, its freaking amazing, full HD gameplay on a tablet for about 40 games, framerate seems really good, responsiveness is decent if not perfect.

stick this on an android tv and wave goodbye to consoles.

I’ve never been one for handhelds but I think I’m going to give the Steam Deck a go. Get rid of the laptop and use that for a travel device and backup machine.

Let me know when you can get one
